Field of the invention
The invention relates to a device for fixing a display element or covering on a timepiece structure, comprising at least one holding key comprising a tenon arranged to be driven out or screwed or riveted or brazed or welded in a housing which said structure comprises or which comprises an element attached to said structure, said at least one holding key comprising a head with at least one truncated flange substantially of revolution relative to the axis of said tenon, the direction of said axis defining the direction of introduction of said display or trim element with respect to said structure, said truncated flange comprising a part substantially of revolution which extends over an angular sector strictly less than 360 °, and said flange truncated comprising at least a first lip delimited by a first upper surface and a first lower surface and which is arranged to cooperate in locking support with a surface or a bearing that comprises a fastening element integral with said display or trim element, and which first lip is further delimited at its ends by ridges.
[0002] The invention relates to the field of fixing display or trim elements in a timepiece, in particular a watch. It relates in particular to the fixing of the dials.
Background of the invention
[0003] For fixing a display element or timepiece covering such as a dial comprising dial feet, to maintain these feet by deformation, dial keys comprising a bevelled and vertically truncated flange are used , the edge of which allows good penetration into the cylindrical part of the dial pie, thus allowing it to be immobilized. However, the rotation of such a dial key generally generates, during its rotation to fix the dial, a burr coming from the dial base concerned and which can be easily detached.
JP S52 95453 U describes an eccentric pin equipped with an eccentric flange portion which pivots and protrudes from a dial plate foot which penetrates through a hole provided in a plate by rotating from the side surface . One side is cut, or both sides parallel to a straight line connecting the maximum and minimum eccentric points are cut.
Summary of the invention
To avoid the generation of such a burr, risking falling in the movement and polluting it, the invention relates to a fixing device comprising a new retaining key, which is obliquely truncated and bevelled at the point of attack of the dial base, from which the material of the dial base can then be pushed back and not cut, the bead thus created remaining attached to the component.
[0006] To this end, the invention relates to a fixing device according to claim 1.
[0007] The invention also relates to a timepiece, in particular a watch, comprising at least one such fixing device.

Detailed description of the preferred embodiments
The invention relates to a device 10 for fixing a display element or cover 20 on a structure 100 of timepieces.
This fixing device 10 comprises at least one retaining key 1, which comprises a tenon 2, which is arranged to be driven or screwed or riveted or brazed or welded in a housing 8 that comprises the structure 100 or that comprises a element attached to the structure 100, or to the structure 100 or such an attached element. This retaining key 1 comprises a head 9, with at least one truncated flange 3 which is substantially of revolution relative to the axis D of the tenon 2. The direction of this axis D defines the direction of introduction of an element d. display or trim 20 relative to the structure 100.
The truncated flange 3 comprising a part substantially of revolution which extends over an angular sector strictly less than 360 °, and this truncated flange 3 comprises at least a first lip 31, which is delimited by a first upper surface 38 and a first lower surface 39, and which is arranged to cooperate in locking support with a surface 42 or a bearing 41, cylindrical or otherwise, which comprises a fastening element 4 integral with a display or trim element 20.
In a first particular variant embodiment, the first lower surface 39 is flat.
In another particular variant embodiment, the first lower surface 39 is helical, with a very small pitch, of the order of a few hundredths of a millimeter, or even a tenth of a millimeter. This variant is suitable for good retention on a flat surface 42 of the fixing element 4, such as a groove face or even a front surface of a dial, or the like.
This first lip 31 is delimited at its ends 311, 312 by ridges 51, 52.
According to the invention, and as visible in Figures 1 to 5, these edges 51 and 52 are not coplanar, and this retaining key 1 comprises, contiguous to each edge 51, 52, and recessed radially by relative to the first periphery 30 of the first lip 31, a second lip 6. This second lip 5 comprises a second lower surface 69, which is common with the first lower surface 39, and a second upper surface 68 which is, at the level of each edge 51, 52, in relief with respect to the first upper surface 38 of the first lip 31.
According to the invention, the edges 51, 52 are finely bevelled edges, and in particular radiated, with a radius of between 10 micrometers and 30 micrometers.
More particularly, the first lip 31 is more elastic than the fixing element 4 with which it is arranged to cooperate, and this first lip 31 is arranged to push back the material of the fixing element 4 during a relative rotation of the retaining key 1 with respect to this fixing element 4. Preferably the first lip 31 has a hardness greater than or equal to 550 HV; more particularly, this retaining key 1 is made of steel.
In a particular variant, and as shown in Figure 6, the holding key 1 comprises several truncated flanges 3, which are superimposed in the direction of the axis D, and able to exert different supports on the same fixing element 4. These superimposed lips allow different supports, either several supports on a cylindrical bearing surface of a dial base for example, or for both support by a flat surface of one of the lips against an upper surface of a dial for example, combined with a support of another lip on a cylindrical bearing surface of a dial base. Note that, in the preferred case of application to the fixing of a dial base, it is imperative to press the dial base opposite the lip, to avoid plastic deformation of the dial base in flexion.
In another particular variant, and as seen in Figure 7, several of the truncated flanges 3 have first lips 31, 131, the edges 51, 52, respectively 151, 152, are angularly offset with respect to each other to others. Such angularly offset attack points then allow progressive tightening of the fixing element 4; this arrangement also makes it possible to guarantee good hold during successive dismantling, which watchmakers practice by always attacking another level of the dial base.
More particularly, the first upper surface 38 is conical with a first half-angle at the apex α, with respect to the axis D, which is between 110 ° and 130 °. The more acute the angle of each lip, the easier the penetration into the fixing element, in particular a dial base or the like, is to the detriment of the resistance of the lip, otherwise the penetration would require too much torque and would tend to bend this fastening element, in particular a dial base.
More particularly, in section in each radial plane passing through the axis D, the second upper surface 68 forms, with the axis D, a second angle β, which is between 40 ° and 50 °.
More particularly, in a plane P perpendicular to the axis D, and at an edge 51, 52, the dihedral tangent to the first upper surface 38 and to the second upper surface 68 has a third angle between 145 ° and 165 °.
In the general case, the holding key 1 is arranged to be used in both directions of rotation.
In a particular case, the holding key 1 is arranged to be used in a single direction of rotation, and comprises a first lip 31 in a helix of less than one turn, in particular and not limited to extending over a angle less than 240 ° and with a pitch less than 300 micrometers. In the application to the fixing of a dial, this variant has the advantage of pulling the dial against its support through the dial feet, by managing the torque transmitted to the keys to prevent tearing; naturally, to allow the engagement of the dial base without contact, a zone without thread is required, which explains the angle less than one revolution.
More particularly, and as illustrated by the figures, the first lower surface 39 is flat.
More particularly, and as illustrated by the figures, the second upper surface 68 is flat.
In a variant, and as visible in Figure 9, the second upper surface 68 is concave. It will in fact be understood that the important thing is that this truncated surface 6 escapes cooperation with the foot, it can be arbitrary provided that the interface zones at the level of the edges 51 and 52 ensure the function of pushing the material back to the bottom. fixing element level 4.
More particularly, in projection on a plane perpendicular to the axis D, the tangents T1, T2, at the edges 51, 52, at the level of the ends of the edges 51, 52, contiguous with the first periphery 30 of the first lip 31 form between them a fourth angle γ which is between 90 ° and 130 °.
More particularly, the first periphery 30 of the first lip 31 is a morfil of thickness less than or equal to 35 micrometers.
More particularly, the second lip 6 comprises a second periphery 60 which is a morfil of thickness less than or equal to 35 micrometers.
More particularly, the display or cover element 20 is a dial, the holding key 1 is a dial key, and the fixing element 4 is a dial base or part of the dial.
The invention also relates to a timepiece 1000, in particular a watch, comprising a structure 100 comprising at least one housing 8 for receiving a tenon, at least one display or covering element 20 comprising at least at least one fixing element 4, and at least one such fixing device 10, for fixing a display or covering element 20 on the structure 100 or on an element attached to the structure 100.
More particularly, at least one display or trim element 20 comprises a side visible by the user, and each holding key 1 is insertable on the structure 100 or on an element attached to the structure 100 and accessible from the visible side, and comprises a driving surface 91 for the insertion of a tool capable of rotating the holding key around the axis D.
More particularly, at least one display or trim element 20 and a holding key 1 arranged for locking this display or trim element 20 are fixed on separate elements, each attached to the structure 100.
More particularly, at least one fastening element 4 of a display or trim element 20 comprises a groove 40, which is arranged to cooperate with the first lip 31 of a holding key 1 arranged for the blocking of this display or trim element 20.
More particularly, at least one retaining key 1 is partially hidden, from the visible side, by the display or trim element 20 that blocks the retaining key 1.
Such a retaining key 1 can be used for several assemblies, dismantles of the dial or the like.
In the application of the fixing of a dial by a dial key, the first lip 31, penetrates a cylindrical bearing surface of the dial base, is rigid, and must not be deformed, its material base is in particular a steel, with in particular and without limitation a hardness of 550 to 670 HV.
In a variant of a dial base 4 comprising a groove 40, the first lip 31 can bear on one of the faces of this groove 40. In other cases, it is necessary that the first lip 31 deforms the base of the dial. dial, because without deformation of the latter the hold is not guaranteed.
In short, the invention makes it possible to avoid the generation of detachable burrs, and to ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness of the clockwork movement during the fixing of the display or trim elements.
